Ms. Zimmerman currently serves as the executive director of the Partnership for Maternal and Child Health of Northern New Jersey. Prior to this position, Ms. Zimmerman was the president and CEO of the Northern New Jersey Maternal / Child Health Consortium, an agency focused on improving the health of medically underserved women and children. For 10 years, she was assistant director of Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, where she was responsible for the delivery of clinical services.
Ms. Zimmerman has been recognized for her outstanding career by many leading organizations. She is the recipient of the American Conference on Diversity’s 2011 Humanitarian Award, NJBIZ’s 2011 Healthcare Hero Award, and the FDR Award from the March of Dimes. She also has been honored by the New Jersey Women and AIDS Network and was a Fellow with Leadership New Jersey’s class of 2004. Ms. Zimmerman holds a Masters of Public Health and a Master’s of Science in Health Planning from the Mailman School of Public Health. Ms. Zimmerman is also the recipient of the 2013 Allan Rosenfield Alumni Award for Excellence.
