Gov. Murphy Signs Legislation to Protect Maternal & Child Health

On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, Governor Phil Murphy signed legislation to support and improve maternal and child health in the state of New Jersey. Newark Mayor Ras J. Baraka and First Lady Tammy Murphy joined the conversation and spoke about ensuring equity in obstetric and pediatric care. Melinated Moms Founder Jaye Wilson provided opening remarks on the impact of health disparities on pregnancy outcomes.
